Their mission will be to put on a 3 day VBS program for the 60 HNS students the first week that includes Bible Story skit, craft, snack, games and music. During the 2nd week they will take two groups of kids (2 days) on an outing by bus to see the Kenyan animals at the Giraffe Centre, Mamba Village, and David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust where they see and learn about the orphaned baby elephants and finally the Animal Orphanage and give them hot lunch. The children will learn about the animals and environment that is protected by Kenya. Also during the 2nd week we will visit families in their homes and distribute food boxes for families of the students.

Along with visiting two local schools and interacting with students, the team will take a day to visit the Kibera Slum which is the largest in Africa. They will have lunch with a group of the women learning trades through HEART’s WEEP program so they can provide for their families as well as visit in homes and bring food boxes. It will be a busy time building relationships with the children, families and staff of Huruma Nursery School.
