Above is our beautiful audience of 80 kids and 5 teachers.

First we want to thank each of you who prayed for the return of the lost 2 pieces of luggage.  We got the call around noon that the luggage would be delivered to our lodging at 4:00 pm.  Hallelujah!  We have no idea where it’s been for the last three days but it’s back home with us.

Administrator Anne had broke off her front tooth just before we came and in pain.  She finally got a Dentist appt. and was to have it fixed this morning.  As of 2:00 pm she still had not been seen.  We are in prayer that she now has it fixed and out of pain.

We all agree that the highlight of today was our “The Mean Guy and Baby Moses” …..Better known as the Pharaoh and Moses.   A little background: The “Mean Guy” was played by Paul Moreland with his low stage voice, Miriam was played by the upbeat Arlene, Moses Mother was spunky Erin and the Princess by the young and vital Suzan.  Cindy played the river waves and the baby Moses who just cried.  First we should never allow Arlene two puppets at one time – Miriam and Baby Moses in a brown sack formed to look like a basket since that was in the lost suitcase.  All was going well until the handoff of Baby Moses to the Princess while Suzan was standing on Erin’s foot.  Something had to give, Baby Moses fell out of the basket and  plummeted over the side of the sheet (our stage) onto his head to the delight of all the children.  Later we were told that was their favorite part.

Because we did not have our Brown Teddy Grahams we had to use Cindy’s Gummy Bears (brought for her enjoyment) to be Baby Moses on top of the Rice Krispy Squares which was to be the basket floating down the river.  Now Paul was a bit alarmed that we were teaching children cannibalism eating little babies on rafts.  We are waiting for comment cards from the parents although the children thought they were quite yummy.
