2026 Missions

  • At Huruma, a devastating fire swept through the community and destroyed 12 homes. By God’s grace, no one was injured — but in a matter of moments, twelve families lost everything they owned.

Among those affected were six families whose children attend Huruma Hope School. These are not just numbers; they are students we know by name, families we pray for, and neighbors we love.

In the midst of heartbreak, something powerful happened. The community immediately came together. Neighbors opened their homes. Food was shared. Prayers were lifted. The school board worked quickly and faithfully to provide mattresses and basic necessities to help these families begin again.

February is often known for hearts and candy, but in Huruma, love has looked different this year. It has looked like generosity. It has sounded like encouragement. It has felt like unity in the face of loss.

While we are grateful for what has already been done, the need is still great. These families are starting from nothing. We are asking for financial support to help provide the remaining essentials they need as they rebuild their lives.

Out of ashes, we are seeing hope. And through it all, we are witnessing the true meaning of love — a community standing together.
