Joy is married to Patrick and has two children, Zac and Kayla. She loves to travel, read, and spend time with family and friends.

 Joy returned from China in 2020 where she worked in an international school as the Senior Dorm Supervisor. She currently works for an online public charter school, Oregon Charter Academey, as the Grant Manager and Admin Assistant for the Career & Technical Education program, ASCEND. She has been on five different mission trips to Oaxaca, Mexico; Puerto Prince, Haiti and Huruma, Kenya.

Joy has a heart for missions and believes we all are called to love on people, whether that is going abroad or loving on those around us. She wanted to be a part of the ministry of Huruma HOPE because she loves helping others and making a difference in the world. She encourages you to be a part as well.
